Notice of Federal Home Loan Bank Members Selected For
Community Support Review

In accordance with the Federal Housing Finance Agency’s (FHFA) Community Support Requirements regulation, 12 CFR Part 1290, all Federal Home Loan Bank member institutions must meet certain standards of community investment or service, in order to maintain continued access to Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLBank) community investment programs and to long-term (greater than one year) FHLBank advances. The regulation stipulates that each member subject to community support review is required to submit a Community Support Statement to the FHFA every odd-numbered year.

2025 FHLBNY Members Selected For Community Review

At the request of the FHFA, members of the public may submit their comments, both positive and/or critical, concerning member community support programs or activities and the performance of FHLBank member institutions in meeting the credit needs of their communities. The public comment period for the 2025 Community Support Review will begin on February 20, 2025 and will end on March 24, 2025. During this period, members of the public who wish to submit comments may send them directly to the FHFA by emailing them to [email protected].

Following the close of the public comment period, FHLBank members are required to submit their completed Community Support Statements to the FHFA via the online Community Support Review portal, beginning on April 1, 2025, until the established deadline of October 31, 2025.
