Update to the Member Products Guide

The Federal Home Loan Bank of New York (FHLBNY) has updated its Member Products Guide (Guide). The Guide details the FHLBNY’s credit and collateral standards and can assist you in finding helpful information on the FHLBNY’s product and service matters (e.g. requirements for advance borrowings and service fee schedules).

This document can be found by signing on to 1Link®, and clicking on the ‘Manuals and Guides’ link. These documents are updated as needed throughout the year.

Changes to the Guide effective as of June 2023 include:

Ineligible LIBOR Collateral states that the LIBOR collateral will be ineligible after July 1, 2023 and the Bank will work with members to ensure successor index is provided. (page 41)
Insurance Company securities collateral margins have increased due market environment conditions (page 46)
