Community Investment Programs Webinar (This event has passed)
This kickoff webinar in January is designed to provide our member institutions and valued housing partners with pertinent updates on the FHLBNY’s community investment products (i.e. Affordable Housing Program (AHP) General Fund, Homebuyer Dream Program® (HDP®), and Community Lending Plan (CLP), events and deadlines for 2022.
Affordable Housing Program (AHP) General Fund Training from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. ET
Description: Starting in February, the FHLBNY staff will conduct a series of virtual trainings. The AHP training is designed to increase attendees’ understanding of all three phases of the AHP application process. The FHLBNY staff will provide an analysis of the trends and takeaways from the 2021 Round and provide key insights on the application review process for the 2022 Round.
Homebuyer Dream Program® (HDP®) Training from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET
Description: The HDP is entering its fourth year providing down-payment and closing-cost assistance to first-time homebuyers in partnership with FHLBNY member institutions. The HDP training will provide an overview of the program and describe best-practices for submitting clean reservation requests to assist in receiving a commitment in grant subsidy for your households.
