We’ve listened to your suggestions and made some exciting improvements to 1Link’s Safekeeping functionality with the release of the new 1Link system. 1Link can be used to facilitate the transfer and custody of your securities, as well as arrange for the timely collection and crediting of principal and interest payments.

 

To serve you better, Safekeeping processes have been streamlined and functionality has been expanded on the new 1Link system to save you time so you can more efficiently manage your Safekeeping activities online.

The new system allows you to:

  • Use one screen to create multiple Safekeeping trade per transaction type
  • Add additional trades of the same security with one click
  • View your entire Safekeeping Holdings portfolio — now including pledged securities
  • Initiate transactions right from the Safekeeping Holdings list
  • Import Safekeeping trades from Excel spreadsheets directly into 1Link to process multiple transactions at the same time
  • Perform and approve transactions with the new USB format Security Device — multiple passwords no longer required

 

Several short training tutorials were created to demonstrate the Safekeeping process on the new system. Watch these tutorials by logging on to the new system and clicking on the "Tools" link on the upper right-hand side of the screen.
