Sr Collateral Business Solutions Analyst

Function:
- Supervise department staff and manage reporting and testing deadlines
- Responsible for user acceptance testing
- Act as project manager to manage / monitor ongoing testing efforts and projects
- Collaborates with IT for solutions and acts a liaison to other departments
- Prepares and verifies departmental, management and regulatory reports
- Compose project initiation request and track project(s) through to completion
- Ability to create ad hoc reporting
- Responsible for the Bank’s collateral data formats
- Recommend data “universes” in support of the Business Intelligence (“BI”) effort
- Analyze data within the BI universe for data quality, identify any issues and work with the business units to ensure the quality expectations are met
- Train new users how to access reports and data on BI and the collateral system
- Define and manage data/reports that access the BI warehouse used by Collateral Services
- Manage business transformation rules in support of the collateral system and customer electronic data submissions
- Perform necessary loan churn analysis as directed or other analytical monitoring reports
Requirements:
- Skills
- Proficiency required in the following PC software:
o Access
o Excel
o Word
Must possess very strong data base and data analysis skills, use of structured query language (“SQL”) and have experience using report writing tools (Web Intelligence or Crystal Reports).
Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
Managerial skills are also required. - Education
Bachelors Degree in Business or Finance required - Experience
Minimum Seven to Eight years with a financial institution. Collateral and credit background preferred with related experience in mortgage data (residential and income producing), mortgage portfolio analysis, and mortgage backed securities. Strong knowledge of systems testing and business requirement development.
