Senior Commercial Loan Review Analyst

Function:
- Perform all functions related to the customer collateral risk criteria, on-site review and due diligence process of commercial, multifamily, combination farm, and combination business mortgage collateral, including its analysis and valuation according to secondary mortgage market standards and validation of data describing mortgages pledged
- Assist manager in the day-to-day operations of the department
- Research and review customer collateral risk criteria. Evaluate financial and credit components of customer’s reported financial data including comparing financial performance to industry and peer group financial performance. Responsible for enhancement of the customer collateral risk assessment process
- Review periodic vendor pricing of the Bank’s income producing mortgage collateral portfolio for accuracy. Summarize results of analysis for senior management along with recommendations for impacts to collateral valuation methodologies or expansion of pricing frequency or collateral population
- A valid State Driver’s License is required. On-site reviews are conducted up to fifty/sixty percent of the time that a full-time employee would normally spend in the office for a non-travel job function. Travel to on-site locations can include air, rail, or driving a rented vehicle, etc.
Requirements:
- Skills
* Must have strong written and oral communication skills and good organizational, analytical and interpersonal communications skills
* Must have strong project management and PC literacy in Excel, WORD and database applications - Education
* BA or BS in Liberal Arts, Economics, Finance, Education or Business related - Experience
* Six to eight years experience in a CRE banking/lending environment or the secondary market.
* Specific experience in two or more of the following areas of commercial and multifamily real estate: loan underwriting, appraisal, due diligence, loan administration/servicing and secondary marketing
* Must have knowledge of real estate related loan documents
